7/6/2023 0 Comments Halo by Alexandra Adornetto![]() ![]() If it were another angel I wouldn't have minded. Like he had nothing better to do than go live as a music teacher in a high school. It bothered me that one of the angels was the archangel Gabriel. There should be consequences but there are none. I find it hard to believe that an angel without free will can so easily ignore a mission and do things she shouldn't- like fall in love with a human. The plot is simple and the characters are a bit shallow. For Audience B: anyone over 16 looking for a Twilight substitue. Not much fowl language - I'd definately give this to my 13 year old neice. It's cute, and it's guarded enough that it touches on subjects like sex but doesn't show any. This is a lovely story about an angel who falls in love with a boy. For Audience A: older kids and young teens or moms looking for something their kids can read. So I split this into two reviews to be honest about the book. For a someone so young, she pulled it off. There are a few problems with this story that was about it get it rated 3 stars but then I read that the author was 17 years old. ![]()
